I applied online. I interviewed at Jacobs (Portland, OR) in Aug 2020
Interview
HR contacted me for initial screening. Apparently, HR has a check list. I did not have one of the qualifications in HR's check list and he turned me down. After a month later, another HR called me to set up a time for the interview. I was told that the qualification is optional.
45 min interview with hiring manager.
-Hiring manager was not aware about there is a job opening at all.
-Hiring manager did not read resume at all.
It is very unethical to waste job-seeker’ s time during this hard time with pandemic going on.

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Jacobs (Portland, OR)
Interview
Good overall, asked me behavioral based questions mainly and asked for my technical experience. The interview lasted about 45 minutes. The process was nice and there were no trick questions.
Extremely disappointing. They repeatedly scheduled interviews and then cancelled them with no notice at all. This happened three separate times.
The constant last-minute cancellations and lack of communication came across as very disorganised and unprofessional. After the third cancelled interview, I decided to withdraw my application entirely. Unfortunately, the process ended up being a waste of time, and it left me with a very negative impression.
Two phone screens and a final interview. Mix of technical and behavioral questions. Screens lasted for around 30 minutes and final interview 50 minutes. Never got an answer from them. terrible experience, lost my time.
