Overall, I felt very disrespected after interviewing with this company. After getting past the phone interview, I was given a virtual interview where they wanted me to do a 30 minute presentation about a project I've done and then answer 1.5 hours of technical questions. They proceeded to ask me very detailed questions about telecommunications and electronics that would be difficult for anyone who was not already heavily experienced in the field. The problem is this was listed as an entry level job with no prior experience required. The whole interview was very uncomfortable and I felt like I was being interrogated on super specific stuff rather than focusing on my experiences and what I did know. The worst part was a couple days after my interview I got a call from the hiring manager stating that they would not offer me the role because I "lacked basic knowledge" and she even said that I would "not be good in a technical role." I felt very disrespected after this phone call. Its usually a nice gesture for employers to offer constructive criticism but instead I was just insulted and berated for not being experienced enough for an entry level role. Months after my interview I see that the job posting has been reposted multiple times, I'm assuming no one is living up to their ridiculous standards for this role.
