I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kiva (Berkeley, CA) in Mar 2015
Interview
Quick phone interview was about 30 minutes. After I asked to reschedule the second phone interview, they never responded to me even though my interviewer said he would basically have moved me on but they were having issues deciding whether interns should be 18 or 21.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kiva (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2018
Interview
First-round interview was with an HR intern, who was very friendly and helpful. Asked questions about my motivation and skills and why I wanted to be at Kiva. The second-round interview was with my future manager, a slightly harder interview with more specific questions about marketing and branding and why I would be a good fit.

Question 1
What is one brand that you think does a good job of storytelling for their audience?
Pretty easy hiring process: After sending in your application you may receive an initially phone interview which was very casual, more about sorting you into a position than evaluating you. Second interview went over resume details, and relevant skills for the position. I got an offer within a week. The entire process was very smooth and very professionally. I highly recommend applying
