My supervisor was late to the office the day of, his supervisor called in from out of state. I interviewed with two other people, both executives. Neither had any knowledge of the skills involved in my work. They asked very general, pointless questions. They pretty much were just their to let on that they pay attention to what's going on at the lower levels of the company, but they really don't. One of the managers asked if I had ever seen their work, and it wasn't until a couple weeks after starting that I understood why he asked me that. I was literally the only person on the team that was qualified and certified to do the job, and had proper education. Everybody else had been pulled from low level positions in other industries. What a nightmare.
