Both were kind, but noticing that is just common practice. To make interviewee believe all went well, but is isn't true.
Communication was a failure afterwards. Claimed HR was out due to Covid and they would let me know. They didn't. I had to follow up. And hard to due so not knowing when person would return.
Overall not a bad process, but was lead on to believe next step was coming and it never did.
