I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mattress Firm (Indianapolis, IN) in Feb 2017
Interview
The process was very average in every way. There are a few generic questions and if you give generic answers you'll be hired. Nothing special to speak of on this front.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mattress Firm (Houston, TX)
Interview
Couldn't be more disappointed in this interview process....received a phone interview after they sent me an email telling me that they think I would be the perfect fit for their company. Went and met with the DM for a face to face and then with the area manager soon after. She told me about the low pay and long hours, but said it would pay off in the commission. Sent a thank you letter to all the people who interviewed me and then didn't hear back from over a week. Then received a rejection email with little explanation of why I was rejected.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Mattress Firm (Tampa, FL)
Interview
There were 5 stages of the process, I first met with a longtime store manager, then with Area Manager then with District Manager ans then with Regional manager over the phone. All were nice and professional, it was not a stressfull experienve
I applied online. I interviewed at Mattress Firm (Fort Worth, TX) in Aug 2017
Interview
Email ,phone call,interview- After application online, received an email -responded to email by clicking link to schedule a phone interview- a "Talent Acquisition Manager" interviewed me over the phone. Once I passed that was passed onto Regional Manager to interview in person , completed online assessment before the interview- this assessment is to help them determine whether you fit in with their culture and willingness to work within their system. The interview went well, but felt I wasn't the right fit and vice versa.
