I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at McMaster-Carr (Palos Park, IL)
Interview
Pretty standard although they do tend to look for people who are managers in other positions and put them in non management roles. The reasoning for this, makes as much sense on paper as it does when you are pitched the job.

Question 1
All standard questions. If you can interview, you're golden.
Call with recruiter then onsite interview at the Elmhurst facility. Toured the facility as a first interview then spoke with another manager as the second interview. Then, took an assessment answering simulated customer questions.
2 online interviews, 1 with a recruiter. The process was easy. They asked about my background and why I want to work for them. There were a few behavioral/ hypothetical questions.
Discovery call with recruiter then a formal interview over zoom call. Very nice people, curious about your work experience and perception of company. Very informative about the company and structure, almost no info about role that you will be in.
