I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Mercer (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Mar 2012
Interview
They have 4 rounds in all.
Written
HR
Operations round
HR management round
Written having basic knowledge of English, numeric abilities, grammar and other.
HR will basically check your previous work background if experienced or will ask general interview questions to fresher.
Operations round is a bit difficult here they will ask you reason to leave your current job, about the process they are hiring for, about mercer and process specific questions.
The last round if you manage to go by is the simplest of them all. Here the discussion will be basically of the pay and pay related questions. For fresher it's better to accept whatever is on offer since the facilities mercer provides is one of the best.
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Mercer
Interview
After submitting a resume, I received a HireVue application which consisted of 3-5 questions (answers were recorded in response). After passing the HireVue, I received an invitation to Superday, where I had two behavioral interviews, a case study, and an informal peer chat interview.

Question 1
[If you are currently lacking technical skills], how do you account for that/make up for the lack of knowledge in that area?
Career consulting-oriented case study, which provides options to present back to the interviewer, but it is best to provide your own unique rationale. The case is brief and more qualitative than quantitative.
