Interview
First had a short call with the hiring manager (principal scientist) to go over the position and skill sets he is looking for. Second round was seminar presentation on my PhD research with 3-5 people from the department (senior/principal scientists, director). Answered a few questions about the research and personality. Overall, everyone was very friendly and open.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Merck (Boston, MA) in Nov 2024
Interview
Application, about a month later heard back for first-round behavioral interview. Two weeks later did one technical and another behavioral interview. Received an offer one month later and had 4 days to accept or reject.
