I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Mount Sinai Health System (New York, NY) in Jun 2018
Interview
First, I had a brief phone screening with the talent acquisition member. She discussed the requirements, asked a few questions regarding my past/current positions, and described the salary range. Then, I was invited for a 1:1 interview with one of the directors of the program. I drove (I live about 2.5 hours away and travel expenses were not paid for. I had to purchase a parking pass, get a PATH pass, and a metro card). The interview went well in my opinion. The conversation was pretty insightful aside from the generic interview questions. The director wanted me to come back to meet the other co-director. I got a follow-up invitation for the third interview. Few days later, my interview was cancelled due to "director's lack of availability." So I was on standby to receive another email with a rescheduled date. Few days passed again and I heard nothing back. One evening, I received an automated response that I was no longer considered for the position. I emailed the talent acquisition team to make sure this was the case.
Being denied the position is fine but they should've been more professional and should've told me that I was no longer being considered for the position from the beginning. Instead, they tried to "reschedule" the third interview and waited another 1.5 weeks to give me the news.

Interview
Well, I received a phone call from a woman asking me some questions and she set up a second interview to speak with the team a couple of days later. Never received a call nor a follow up email on the day and time she had scheduled. Unprofessional to say the least.
