The hiring process was quite easy to follow. I applied through the website and was offered a phone interview. I gave a presentation describing my PhD. findings and got a chance to communicate with both the professor and the lab members about both my and their ongoing research.

Most questions were related to my findings during my PhD. The most difficult question was probably about choosing the right research project and how I see myself in research after 5 years.

Interview
Curriculum vitae and cover letter were evaluated, followed by consultancy to two references provided. After reference letters have been received, it was then reviewed and, and an interview on Skype was scheduled.
First writing two pages of possible contributions to the lab. Then the on-site interview includes a seminar, and several one-on-one interview, plus a group lunch. The PI would meet you before and after the interview process.
