I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Mozilla (Mountain View, CA) in May 2021
Interview
I have applied for the Senior Android Engineer role, at Mozilla Pocket.
1. Interview with a recruiter
2. Interview with the manager and team lead
3. Homework assessment
4. Interview with the whole team
5. Five Interviews with five different people (45 minutes each)
More than 10 hours were invested in the interview process.
The recruiter was terrible in the end. When I have finished with all the interviews, the recruiter told me that I was good but they need to wait for one candidate to finish the process. After one week, he told me that the team wants me but that one more candidate needs to finish the process (at the moment I knew that I won't pass). In total after almost 3 weeks, he told me that they chose another candidate.
What a waste of time and energy...
We understand how much time and energy the interview process demands and apologize for the inconsistent communication you received. We’re beginning to make changed to our overall recruiting process, in part to ensure your experience doesn’t happen again.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mozilla (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2022
Interview
This is for the Pocket team.
I had a chat from a recruiter and then with the two people (manager and lead) for around 20 minutes. One guy explained the take-home assignment to me but I never received it. Instead, I received a rejection letter 20-30 minutes after the interview without any feedback. I did fail to answer one of the interviewers follow-up questions so maybe it was because of that, I dunno. They seem to be pretty picky though considering they only have 2 people and pride themselves in being a small team.

Question 1
No technical questions or coding questions in initial chat.
