I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Nielsen (Milpitas, CA) in Jun 2010
Interview
The interview process dragged on a bit longer than I would have hoped/expected. The in person was interesting in that they continued to add more and more people to the room as the interview progressed (which I took as a good sign) and each layering in more questioning. They weren't passing me off to the next person, but adding more - since each of them would ask questions that fed off the others.

Question 1
They asked me about a specific problem they were currently facing with missing data. They provided relevant details and asked how I would go about solving their issue. This line of questioning seemed pretty typical.
