some time ago I was contacted by an HR advisor re. a tax specialist role in Basel via LinkedIn that was below my career level (senior tax and transfer pricing manager in a large company in Zürich). I politely refused any further steps as I was not interested in this low level role. I was very suprise how incompetent HR recruiters are as they aproach candidates with roles below their experience level. Then, I found an advert for the Global Head of TP recently. I applied as the role was in line with my current position and experience. I receive an automatic reply that they have other candidates whose experience and qualifications better match with job requirements. I was totaly stunned when I saw that the position was advertised one again after a few weeks... where they have these better candidates?! Very upseting experience. I consider selling shares (small portfolio) of this company as I don' t want to invest in the group with unprofessional HR resources and processes....
