I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies (London, England) in Oct 2025
Interview
I had a very pleasant interview experience with Palantir. The process consisted of three interviews in total. The first was a recruiter screening focused on my background, goals, and career ambitions. The following rounds were technical and well structured: one interview introduced a new concept and asked me to apply it in a small coding exercise, which I found refreshing and educational, and another combined technical problem solving with more abstract system design discussions.
Overall, the interviews were challenging but fair, and the interviewers were professional and supportive throughout the process. The experience gave me a good impression of Palantir’s engineering culture and emphasis on learning and problem solving, and I appreciated the clarity and organization of the overall interview flow.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
One of the most memorable questions was an abstract problem-solving exercise framed as a mission scenario. I was asked to imagine being the first person landing on a new planet for three days, with the goal of collecting as much information as possible about the species living there. The interviewer was interested in how I would structure the problem, define assumptions, prioritize what to observe, and design a systematic approach to gathering and organizing data rather than focusing on a single correct answer.

Interview
The interview process consisted of an initial recruiter screening followed by a technical interview with an engineer. The technical round focused primarily on LeetCode-style coding questions and problem-solving. The recruiter was responsive and the interview process was straightforward.

Question 1
What is a technical project I have worked on recently.
A recruiter reached out to me and has the initial screening. Then the recruiter reached back to me after 3 weeks. You just have to wait for the recuriter to reach out to you. It could take some time.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies (New York, NY)
Interview
The process was straightforward and focused on both engineering fundamentals and communication in an ambiguous, customer-facing forward-deployed role. It included an initial screen, technical/coding-style evaluation, and behavioral discussions around ownership, problem solving, and working directly with users or clients.
