I applied online and the recruiter reached out within a week to set up a screening interview. The recruiter was fantastic—super enthusiastic and professional. He genuinely got me excited about the role and the company, which made a great first impression.
The next step was an interview with the hiring manager. This experience was bizarre and unprofessional from the get-go. He was five minutes late and before I even got a chance to speak, told me he had a "hard stop" at the end of the scheduled interview block. Right away, I felt rushed and undervalued.
The interview itself felt like a complete mess. The hiring manager’s questions were all over the place and unclear. At one point he forgot what question he asked. Likely because he was too busy looking away and clicking on other screens, barely engaging with me. It was really unprofessional and made me feel incredibly uncomfortable.
He often followed up my answers by talking about himself, of which the information was not related to the job itself. His self-centered approach was off-putting and left me feeling really disappointed and treated poorly.
I really liked the company, its mission and culture. But this "interview" if you can call it that, was unacceptable.
I don’t usually write Glassdoor reviews, but this experience was so negative that I felt I had to share. I hope the company takes this feedback to and assesses how it's hiring managers conduct interviews in the future.
