Interview
After some warm-up exercises, they split the entire group (about 20 people) into 3 smaller groups and had us each go to 3 different stations. The first station my group went to had us creating a tent together out of office supplies and we had to present a 1-minute pitch in front of everyone (this happened at the very end of the interview).
The second station had us pairing up and picking a product out of a box. We then had to give a one minute pitch about the product to our partner.
The last station had us telling each other a bit about ourselves (what's your favorite activity) and also why we wanted to work for REI.
All in all, it was an easy interview and actually pretty fun. It's been about 5 days and I have yet to hear from them though.

Interview
Online interview. After viewing question, you get 30 seconds to think and then must record an answer. You get 2-3 min per answer. If not satisfied with your first recorded answer, you have two more chances to re-record, and can then choose which of the three recordings you wish to submit. Five questions total. After this video interview, you may be offered a virtual or in-person interview with real people.

I was asked to record a couple videos where I talked about myself, my strengths and good customer service. Afterwards I got invited to an online interview with 4 other people and 2 interviewers. They mostly asked “tell us about a time” questions.

After applying online, I got a notice of pre-recorded interview after a week. I had 5 days to complete the pre-recorded interview. I had to answer 5 different questions. I was able to record 3 times for each question.
