I applied online and shortly thereafter was contacted by a recruiter who briefly interviewed me on the phone. Soon after that he arranged an onsite interview with a manager and a senior manager the following week. When I arrived and checked in with the security guard, he called but could not reach the senior manager. I interviewed with the manager and someone else who sat in on the interview. The next morning, I got an email from the recruiter saying they would pass. The manager had apparently decided this just hours after the interview. I never spoke with the senior manager and it's unclear if he had any say in the hiring decision. Over a month later, the job is STILL open and was reposted last week. I've gotten a couple of emails from outside staffing firms that Raymond James is apparently using to help fill the job. This suggests that the job went to someone else who didn't work out or they are simply shopping around and not serious about hiring anyone at all. My guess is the latter, because the job site has MANY jobs that were posted several weeks and months ago.
