I was called by an internal recruiter and interviewed over the phone. I then had a subsequent interview with a recruiter who recruited for the group company, as opposed to a specific subsidiary.
After the telephone interviews, I was invited to a face-to-face meeting with the Head of TA for Sytel. He asked me about my CV and my career ambitions/past experiences. Just an informal conversation.
Finally, I met with the Managing Partner for an interview. I do not see what this guy sees in himself. At the time, I was a fresh graduate and was desperate to secure a position in consultancy. Having looked back on the whole experience, I realise how desperate I really was.
The Managing Partner asked me to describe consultancy to him in 30 seconds or leave!! My answer was pretty spot on and probably better than one he could've come up with himself, therefore he didn't reply.
He then asked for me to drop everything I was doing and to star on Monday (if not the offer was to be rejected).
All in all, a waste of 5 months of my life. BE AWARE
