I applied online. I interviewed at SAP (Vancouver, BC) in Jan 2016
Interview
Got a voice mail from the Philippines telling me that they emailed me about scheduling an interview when they never emailed me at all. Interview was scheduled and I went in for my interview and my interviewers were late. I had to wait 30+ minutes because they messed up the times. The company asked another candidate to go for lunch and come back in 2 hours for his interview. Absolutely unacceptable. The interviewers were not prepared at all.

Typical questions about classes and a so-called "algorithm" question that wasn't even an algorithm question.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SAP (Vancouver, BC) in May 2025
Interview
Two interviewers, first behavioral questions than:
- a LC medium question (others got two easy ones)
- a Java debugging/refactoring question (OOP and data structure stuff)
Afterward you can contact a recruiter who usually responds within 48 hours.

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at SAP (Vancouver, BC) in Sep 2022
Interview
The interview began with a brief introduction where the interviewer explained the structure and objectives of the interview. I was then asked to introduce myself and summarize my background and relevant experience.
Next, the interviewer asked a series of questions related to my resume, including specific projects I’ve worked on and the skills I used. After that, we moved on to situational and behavioral questions, such as how I handle tight deadlines or work in a team.
1 round of interview, interviewer was extremely kind but your interview experience will depend on who you get. ask thorough questions and explain your thought process. Be confident and smile, because they hire based on your experience and demeanor. Overall, comapanies probably want someone eager to learn, and pleasant to work with.
