Went through several rounds of interviews, meeting increasingly senior people. Seemed like when they were interested or had time things could move quickly, but there were times the process just stagnated a bit.

Question 1
Many questions probed details of past experiences. Others were practical questions about how the new job would be attacked.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at SanDisk (Milpitas, CA) in Mar 2013
Interview
Was called by a friend to come in for an interview that week as they had a resignation and needed someone to replace that position. The process was very quick. Within a week I had an offer.
