    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Symphony Teleca (Jacksonville, FL) in August 2014.

    Interview

Knew my immediate boss (VP) from prior job, so minimal interview. Did a phone interview with his boss, followed by a phone interview with client Global CIO and Regional CIO. All went very well. Positive and educational experience. I negotiated the salary I wanted and started within a few days of my departure from my prior job.

    Interview Questions

    • The interview questions centered on how I would approach the initial client engagement. I knew the client interview had gone well when we shifted into engagement planning about halfway through our allotted time.   1 Answer

Received a call from the Company Recruiter and did a phone interview. Was put in touch with the hiring manager regarding the open position. Was scheduled for an interview with the hiring manager. Interviewed with the Senior Recruiter. Received a call from the hiring manager with an offer.

    Interview Questions

    • Was asked about future career plans. This is not a difficult question, just something I haven't really thought about in several years. My answer was very truthful in that there are some things I have been thinking about doing, but not sure if they will come to fruition.   Answer Question

    Interview

Very typical of other companies. Starts with a phone screening and can progress to a full phone interview. If that goes well, then an on-site interview will be arranged in most cases. However not always, they may hire based on phone interviews also.

    Interview Questions

    Discussion with HR, very typical

Level II Technical Support Analyst Interview

    Average Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Symphony Teleca (Nashville, TN) in August 2011.

    Interview

The position was for Level 2 Technical Support Analyst contracted out to a company providing SaaS worldwide... Incident Management, Asset Management, etc. There were 5 interviews in all. The first four on the phone. First one was simply vetting through a local recruiter. Second, the recruiter and their manager. The third one was with Symphony Teleca... the recruiter, their manager, and the person to become my manager with ST. The fourth one was with ST and the client... the client provided both a manager and Team Lead on the phone.

The fifth interview was on site. It entailed me walking in the door dressed appropriately, ready to take the interview and position seriously. Five seconds later and it was all over, I had won the job. Apparently other stellar candidates had walked in and decided cargo pants and unshaven were the way to go.

    Interview Questions

    • Describe the most difficult instance where you troubleshot to completion an issue for a customer. Full description required. What was the issue, resources, logic involved, corrective actions, final resolution involving the software package for which I was being hired.   Answer Question

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Symphony Teleca (Bengaluru (India)) in September 2016.

    Interview

It was all over 3 rounds
    1. Online Test
    2. F2F Round (Langauge and Algo)
    3. F2F Round (Language and problem solving)

first two rounds were finished in one day but third round they took 1-2 weeks to conduct and even after confirming the salary and notice period they didn't returned with any reason of hold /declined or accepted . Pathetic HR experience as after inteview rounds was clearly good . They made me to wait in this company interview process about 20 days .
Clearly Interviewer was good with the knowledge but informing candidates is the worst part.

Surely not recommended to wait for this company if they drop u out for next round any other day.
