first step was a q and a you could press record and had multiple attempts and the question asked about working in a team and handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines then there was game based assessment
Game-like assessments and a couple coding challenges in language of your choice, with a one or two video interviews at the end. Overall under 2 hours depending on how long you take with the coding questions.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Telstra (Melbourne) in May 2025
Interview
3 hours of recorded video interviews using HireVue, including 5 coding questions and 3 additional puzzles. The process was really long and tedious, with no human interaction. Applicants cannot receive any feedback on performance. Considering the length of the video interview and the long waiting period, it was not a good experience overall.
