I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Texas Children's Hospital (Houston, TX) in May 2014
Interview
Its a panel interview with leadership and some staff to get a feel for if your personality will go well with the unit culture, if you've never done one before it can be intimidating but remember they want you to do good. They don't want to do any more interviews. They are actually on your side because they are hoping you are the right fit for the job.

Interview
Very thorough interview and difficult to get in, lots of behavioral interview questions. Worth it to get in there I absolutely loved working at this world class hospital. Worked on the heart floor and it was a great experience, learned so much. Found that the staff was very young. Overall great place to work and would definitely recommend.

Question 1
Name a time you had a difficult situation with a coworker and what did you do?
Scattershot and the manager wasn’t very responsive. The benefits aren’t great and the pay is lacklustre. They work employees hard and pay low. Management seems a bit undereducated. I would suggest looking at other health systems that care more about employees.
