We spent 10 min on them insisting on me to give them a min number in the hiring manager call. It felt like they real budget concerns but don't want to frame it at all. And for what they possibly can pay, their interview process is way too demanding. Pick a struggle, either compensate based on the market or stop having super selective interview processes.

Interview
Cleared all the rounds but didn't receive the offer due to the company's miscommunication and internal blunder.
There were 4 rounds totally. The rounds were good, questions were interesting and interviewers carried it well. It was more of conversation based and I was comfortable throughout.
I cleared all these rounds. Recruiter informed me that next steps will be on the offer processing and asked about my salary expectations. Later I was also informed about some complication with the position that I applied for and some process is being initiated to have open a new position to accommodate me. I was okay to wait and meanwhile I set my salary expectations.
After few days, recruiter called and informed me on the final offer and if its fine they can proceed. I was immediately okay with it. They asked about joining date and and that the offer letter would be released in the upcoming days.
Minutes after this, I received another call from the recruiter saying that new position was approved for Software Engineer role only and not for Senior Software Engineer and so the earlier discussed compensation is not applicable for this role and that they won't be able to go ahead with the offer and that's it.

Interview
After the job application, there is an online exam that will take 2 hours. There are also questions about .net core in this exam. There are also 2 hacker rank questions.
