I interviewed for the People Operations Coordinator position at Versa Networks. The process included an introductory call with the hiring manager, a second round with a Talent Acquisition team member, and a third round again with the hiring manager. I was informed there may potentially be a fourth round as well.
While everyone I spoke with was professional and courteous, the overall process felt unnecessarily long for a non-technical HR operations role. Across multiple rounds, many of the questions were repeated, and there did not appear to be a clear progression in depth or focus between interviews.
I invested significant time preparing thoughtful examples and researching the company, so it was disappointing not to receive any follow-up communication after being told I would receive an update. I sent a thank-you email and later followed up, but did not receive a response.
For candidates applying to similar roles, I would recommend clarifying the full interview structure upfront and understanding expectations for each round. Transparency and communication throughout the process would greatly improve the candidate experience.
Pros: Professional interviewers, interesting company space.
Cons: Lengthy process, repetitive interviews, lack of follow-up communication.
