Interview
My interviewer came across as rude and uninterested. In the 'tell me about yourself' phase, I spoke in detail about my resume. He didn't write anything down and frequently seemed to be trying to decide what to ask next. Halfway through he flipped through my interview and spoke about past experience on my resume as if it was brand new information. At one point a host came by to ask a question and my interviewer said "I'll be there right away," after we'd only spoken a few minutes. Kept referring to "the restaurant industry" rather than focusing on Yard House itself. Odd interview.
They asked me a lot of questions about how to seat people , and different scenario based questions. How deal with difficult customer questions and questions about making reservations and what to say. It will help if you do some research on that.
In person, one on one with general manager. A single round after a resume drop. After the interview they followed up via email about the job and if they needed any more information

Interview
Two interviews from main managers where they asked basic questions about past job experience and why I had interest in this role. All the staff was very friendly and both of the managers were very communicable on what they were looking for.
