the interview process was a few rounds of interviews. most interviews lasted between 15 to 30 min. I would recommend researching the company before the interview. Also be prepared for a short cold call role play.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Yelp in Oct 2011
Interview
The HR function for this role was handled out of San Francisco. I am on the east coast so there was a bit of shuffling to figure out a good time to chat initially. HR person was more personable than most HR phone screens I have had. She seemed genuinely interested in my answers and we had a nice rappaport. Within a few days, I was schedule for a phone screen with the Senior Manager. We had a nice talk but I knew from our conversation I would have to go "above and beyond" in order to get to the next role. They had very specific requirements they were seeking and I fell short on a couple items. Overall it was a very positive experience even though I did not get the job.
Everyone in the interview process is super friendly and straight forward. They make you feel comfortable Be prepared to roll play and the interview process could take up to three or four interactions.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Yelp (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2018
Interview
The hr team was clear, responsive, diligent, respectful, and laid out exactly how things would go and orchestrated that accordingly. They were always upfront and organized. We were oriented to the sales floor and shown the on site amenities, it made it so that you could really see yourself there already, as a part of the team!
