I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Yext (Tokyo) in Sep 2020
Interview
The recruiter contacted me via LinkedIn. I applied the position after talking with the recruiter because the position is very attractive. I met the hiring manager, co-workers and HR manager. Then I have got the offer. Their decision is very quick and flexible.
The interview process was very straight forward and efficient with clear communication from the recruiter at each stage. The technical assessment was an Excel take home assessment, which was open book.

Question 1
Tell me about the most challenging project you've worked on.
Started with a writing test, the prompt: Please write down detailed directions for your new neighbor so they can drive to your house for a party. Then spoke with multiple people across different teams.
Hiring team fails to inform you throughout the interview process and doesn’t reply to emails. Very unprofessional for a company of that size. They completely ghost on you to inform you of anything.
