What would you tell a customer that was wanting system changes, if you could not help them, or make the changes they were requesting?

Explaining how to tell the customer, that from a business perspective, that IT cannot accommodate all requests.

The typical question was asked, where to you see yourself in five years. I'm an individual contributor and I like it. I've been a manager and don't like it. I'd like to be where I am now in five years, but it's hard to make people understand that.

More slight technical questions. Coding language used in the office.

There were no unexpected questions. All questions were aimed at my skill set and experience with IS applications and resolving issues and understanding of delivering specific projects.

The aptitude test was the most difficult "technical" portion. Besides that the interview was just talking about experience, attitude, etc. Hiring seemed to be largely personality based than specific skills.
