I have been working at Insightly full-time (More than a year)

I have been in this industry for about 10 years. I have yet to see such a caring group of intelligent and motivated individuals come together and make it happen so quickly. I cannot give enough praise to the Engineering team, they are a dynamic bunch with a hardworking attitude and a sense of humor. The CEO makes it a point to be as involved in team and company events as possible and is very intertwined with company culture at this time. The HR team is the most lively bunch of people and dynamic group of happy to help in any way to make the company a great place to work. I have seen recruiters work until 9pm, while playing music and laughing. The sales and Marketing teams are more new to the culture but are really livening up the scene with their fresh perspective and ideas. Insightly also has a large CS team that seems to work tirelessly to mind the happiness of the customers. I mostly enjoy thier take on company events and ability to create fun costumes. We have any choice of a variety of salami and salmon you could want in the kitchen as well as snacks galore. The working hours are great. My team hours are slightly different but I still get back in time to see the little rascals at home which makes the family very happy.

In a growing company, you will always have a few squeaky wheels. Many people just don't or will not realize how good they have it. We also have a very caring Human Resources team that seems to constantly have the employee happiness top of mind. The executives are very approachable and we have an open environment so it is best to voice your concerns (if any) with your team. I found that the few times I had some issues, they were talked about in an open manner and were fixed immediately.

    Advice to Management

This is more advice to my team, if there is something you are concerned about you should absolutely take it up with your manager or HR. I have not seen a more "willing to help" company. Most managers are very eager to listen. I would also like to point out that we are doing a good job with diversity on most teams and should keep it up, my team could use a few more males and raise as well as a full time pony (:

The process took a week. I interviewed at Insightly.

I spoke with HR she seemed like a very nice lady and very pleasant to speak with. We talked for over 45 minutes and it did not even feel like an interview. The conversation went very naturally. In the midst of all this I realized she was still asking me questions about my career goals, past employer, salary and so on. I have not had such a pleasant interview in ages. While I believe I may have been a good fit for the role, it seems after the hiring manager screen, the team wanted someone more senior. I completely understood as HR only took a few days to let me know. I would love to work for this company one day.
