Christian Care Ministry administers the Medi-Share program. Medi-Share is a community of Christians who share each other’s unexpected medical burdens, much like the early church in Acts. As a faith-based healthcare sharing ministry, members pray for each other and have agreed to share in expenses that align with their Christian faith. Unlike insurance, Medi-Share is based on Biblical stewardship and responsibility---to God and each other. It is an extension of the practice of our Christian faith. Since 1993, more than $5.6 billion in healthcare costs have been shared or discounted. Now, more than 30 years after its inception, Medi-Share is the nation’s largest health care sharing community with nearly 400,000 members.

Mercy, one of the 15 largest U.S. health systems and named the top large system in the U.S. for excellent patient experience by NRC Health, serves millions annually with nationally recognized care and one of the nation’s largest and highest performing Accountable Care Organizations in quality and cost. Mercy is a highly integrated, multi-state health care system including 50 acute care and specialty (heart, children’s, orthopedic and rehab) hospitals, convenient and urgent care locations, imaging centers and pharmacies. Mercy has over 1,000 physician practice locations and outpatient facilities, more than 5,000 physicians and advanced practitioners and more than 50,000 co-workers serving patients and families across Arkansas, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. Mercy also has clinics, outpatient services and outreach ministries in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. In fiscal year 2024 alone, Mercy provided nearly half a billion dollars of free care and other community benefits, including traditional charity care and unreimbursed Medicaid.

World Vision is an independent private Christian organization that holds faith in Jesus Christ as central to our identity, motivation, and calling to serve communities in need. It all started in 1947, when founder Bob Pierce, when gave the last $5 in his pocket to a missionary orphanage for the care of an abandoned Chinese girl. Since Bob founded World Vision more than 70 years ago, we have gone places others would not, and done tasks others could not. Today, we continue to work in the places where it is hardest to be a child because we believe that is where we are needed most.
