Pros
Interesting product - high power RF generators used in silicon manufacturing.
Cons
Engineering team is being poorly managed. Workload is huge, Engineering dept. understaffed, equipment needed to do your work is not available for weeks or months. Older, established Engineers unwilling to help newcomers for whatever reason (job security, office politics?). Management afraid to discipline them for fear they will leave. Management does not understand need to phase out problematic employees (or at least have backups for them so they can enforce rules on them).

Pros
1) Pay is good 2)Few engineers are really smart 3) Insurance is ok 4) free coffee 5) AE is set as a major player in the market
Cons
1) The company is run by a bunch of old engineers who use ancient methods and are power hungry and control freaks 2) The "Engineering" Managers are a joke. They wouldn't pass an undergrad basic electronics test and have no clue what the products do. They wouldn't even be good program managers 3) Most of the employees have just been at the company forever and are simply sitting on their jobs 4) Few talented new hires were just frustrated and quit 5) Yelling and cursing is the norm as is office politics and drama and everyone keeps blaming the system 6) The so called "Leads" have no idea what they are doing and every product/shipment to customer will be delayed no matter what and the program manager faces the heat every single time 7) People who say that they are excited to wear "many hats" and think that they are contributing to the project are the guys that are actually being a burden on other engineers 8) Manager sit around doing excel sheet and are at the mercy of older engineers for surviving in their jobs 9) favoritism runs rampant and the "new" program of " employee appreciation" is the same bunch of guys getting stock bonus every quarter 10)The so called value and culture is just talk and no one even has any clue what employee harassment or company ethics mean 11) There is literally no invention or innovation as the company sits on their 30 year old Paramount and Apex products and the belief is that the bigger fish wont let them die 12) This is a "high tech" company that is " powering the 4th industrial revolution" that fears technology itself and technical people 13) Top management hired today will quit in 2 years
