High volume workload, dynamic atmosphere, very little reward for effort

Pros

Wonderful co-workers and lovely office space in a beautiful city. And they do pay for your parking. They'll throw employees a pizza luncheon or some bagels for breakfast every now and then - nothing to write home about though.

Cons

Bare minimum holidays, not even Christmas Eve, while the "brass" takes off every Jewish holiday under the sun. Hardly a raise for years on end, then when they are given they are a slap in the face, as in $0.20 per hour or worse. Never replacing employees who quit, simply spreading their workload among already overworked staff.

With Belfor or over 9 years....just couldn

Pros

Opportunity for travel and meeting some great people. Learned a lot but that comes with a price.

Cons

Went over 7 years without a raise. Even changed positions and took on additional responsibilities....no raise. The zinger was that men doing the job I was doing (yes, I'm a woman) were making over $10k more than I was and were eligible for commission on their sales. BEWARE: this company is highly discriminatory towards women!! I've been advised to sue Belfor and am considering it.

Not many Most co-workers are great people that are unsuspecting of the kind of company they work for

Cons

Employees are promised lots of things like raises, room for improvement then are shafted and pushed aside when they buy another company and promote the new people over the people that have sacrificed their family life to prove them selfs to a company that had no intention of ever promoting in the first place.or promoting them just when they need them and moving your pay from hourly to salary and taking a pay cut just to get moved aside for your replacement
