I have been working at Beyondsoft Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good work-life balance. Nice and friendly team members. Flexible working hours and basic benefits. Free snacks, beverages and in-the-office small gym.

    Cons

The medical insurance could be better.

    Advice to Management

Recruit and retain the best people.

I worked at Beyondsoft Group full-time

    Pros

Work with a major brand on interesting, visible projects

    Cons

    - "CYA" culture, partially driven from broader client culture
    - Sink or swim environment with limited team support
    - Management focus is always on client (not surprisingly), so expect support to be there independent of what would otherwise be rational behavior
    - Limited internal growth opps and focus on employee development
    - Lack of caring and empathy within management

    Advice to Management

Invest in and empower your human capital while reevaluating what leadership should look like among current management

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Beyondsoft Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Ability to work remotely if you are not living close to the only real office up in Seattle area.

    Cons

Senior management really did not know what they are doing, and they are very poor in selecting the right middle-tier management team. Management, in general, do not know the right way to engage customers, and company politics impacted customer relations.

    Advice to Management

Please put more focus on your engineering team. They are the real assets you have to move the company projects and products forward.

    Pros

Company promotes an entrepreneurial culture with great management. Analytics roles offer maximum client and consulting exposure across all job levels

    Cons

Need more clients. I know the sales team is working hard to line up pipeline, so hopefully things work and client base expands

    Advice to Management

    Acquire more IPs/startups

    Pros

    Culture, Innovation, and team support.

    Cons

Management specific, but would enjoy a more relaxed work from home policy. But then again, we are contractors so it is hard to justify that.

    Advice to Management

Extremely motivating team and I am happy to be a part of the team! Keep up the great work!

    Pros

Fun and culturally varied work environment. Job opportunities for a variety of consulting positions at Beyondsoft office as well as at client sites. Room for career growth.

    Cons

Communication of company vision could be better

    Advice to Management

While I have seen improvement over the last six months in terms of overall communication from senior leadership, there is still room for improvement.

I have been working at Beyondsoft Group full-time

    Pros

They take pride in being Microsoft's first vendor and their ability to maintain such an amazing relationship. They also provide services to SO MANY other clients as well, so I'm extremely impressed with how they are able to manage, build, and develop such long lasting relationship with their clients. There will ALWAYS be work and business.

    Cons

Since it's an Asian company, they're still trying to create and get accustomed to the US/Western management style/culture. But they're trying and that's all that matters.

    Advice to Management

Hire more diverse people. People KNOW it's a Chinese company, but that doesn't mean that everyone has to be Asian. Be more diverse. If there's too many of one kind, it then develops a "high school-like clique/mentality". This is also what's making it harder for you to create that imprint in the U.S...you can't build that culture if the majority of the company is Chinese/Asian. There then becomes this "closed off" and awkward social interaction between departments and groups of employees.

I have been working at Beyondsoft Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

24/7 Snack Bar with Le Croix in the fridge
    Flexible work schedule
    Ever-changing, interesting dev work
    Reasonable expectations for work hours
    Solid annual review process
    lots of OTJ training opportunities

    Cons

Bellevue Location isn't optimal for commuting unless you have a car
Lunch options are minimal in the business park - Poppin Jays gets old
June can be a long month due to heavy client work

    Advice to Management

    Keep diversifying the client base!

I have been working at Beyondsoft Group full-time

    Pros

People you work with are nice.

    Cons

Company doesn't pay anything close to a competitive wage.
    Lack of interest in employees.
    Dishonest business practices.
Future of job security doesn't look great either with constant contract issues with client and spans of unemployment.

    Advice to Management

    Stop being goons/puppets

I worked at Beyondsoft Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Very relaxed dress code
    - Coffee machine
    - Nice office in Bellevue
    - Some catered lunches on Fridays, and some pizza Fridays for meetings

    Cons

    - Way below average pay
    - Quick to release you from a project when the client is unhappy (understandable), but first help your employee solve the problem instead of handing them a 30 day notice
    - No office snacks
    - Non-competitive benefits
    - Minimal time off for those not on Microsoft projects (2 weeks), even then, still minimal (3 weeks that you accrue throughout the year)

    Advice to Management

    - Advocate for your employees, have their back
    - Work on fighting for better pay for your employees - no one can live on $30k a year, its 2017.
    - You constantly ask about how to improve the company and make it better, get crackin'
