    I worked at Carson's full-time

    Pros

I worked as an adviser for 2 years. Started at Clarins and moved to Clinique. The success and happiness in this position really depends on location, your coworkers and you interest in the job. I happened to be very interested in the job but got stuck with gossiping, backstabbing coworkers and two dead locations. If you want to extend your career really put in the time to get into a busy location and a decent team.

    Cons

Got stuck with crappy coworkers/managers in a dead mall.

    Advice to Management

You are not the CEO of a successful beauty company, chill out.

I have been working at Carson's full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    discount, paid time off, discount

    Cons

consistency, pay raises, work to home life balance, doesn't matter what you know, it's who you know that counts

    Advice to Management

Stop cutting payroll from associates so there is no customer service, try paying the ineffective CEO and top management less millions.

    I worked at Carson's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

costumers and coworkers had good days, which things would go smoothly from there.

    Cons

there would be worse days then others others would'nt click with me and I would'nt click with them and it was mainly the people I worked with.

    Advice to Management

    none

    Pros

Decent if you need benefits, like working with people, friendly people to work with and are flexible around thier hours.

    Cons

Store management is like anywhere you might work. The good and the bad, but they deal with the same bull as the associates, because corporate management is on everyone. Corporate spends more time worrying about their largest stores and taking people and time away from the little stores to make the big stores look good. Then wonders why the little stores start to fail when they have no product, people or hours to put into the stores that are still working with antiquated systems, fixtures, etc.

    Advice to Management

Play fair across the board between all stores, associates, hours and in store management. Spread the support. Encourage the moral.
