    Pros

Great Employee discounts available, if you like to stay busy with customers this is a great fit.

    Cons

Hours, and work shifts continuously changing. Pay is not that great, for the amount of time you actually are working, it's retail...

    Advice to Management

Not a lot of room for growth with the company!

    I worked at Carson's part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Direct deposit, decent enough discount

    Cons

I applied to be seasonal sales, when I showed up for orientation the hr woman suddenly made me a warehouse associate which was too physical given my age and old injuries from a severe car accident in 2008. The hr woman was a control freak and insisted I can only receive my schedule from her on a tiny post-it note. The orientation was a nightmare with a malfunctioning streaming video that had to be restarted several times and no one in the office could operate the outdated computers properly.
I was often told to do four different things by four different people, usually undoing the work asked of me by another. While moving heavy objects, the insolent, snooty salespeople would saunter in my path and get upset that I nearly hit them with the heavy objects.
The english skills of those working the phones were so poor trying to call about anything as a customer or employee was a deeply frustrating experience. I was put on hold for an hour while the phone operator barked in some thick, slavic language in the background.. and I was trying to find out when my first day was. I almost walked out before even starting my first shift. I barely lasted two weeks before my surgically altered knee gave out.

    Advice to Management

Get with modern times with a way to clock in, check your schedule and else with a phone app, and hire people who don’t act as if their mere presence graces the Earth with a transcendent experience.
