I worked at Core Laboratories full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good people, some OT, flexible with work assignments

    Cons

Don't work anywhere there is a friend of a manager. Or several friends of several managers for that matter.

I worked at Core Laboratories full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The senior geologist were great, a pleasure to work with, and happy to educate.

    Cons

Basically everything else. Senior mgmt. is out of touch with people. There are many politics. If you want to advance be prepared to "brown nose". The entire environment is depressing, it seems as if everybody is looking for new employment and using Corelab as a "get by" job until something better comes along.

I worked at Core Laboratories full-time

    Pros

    There are no pros here.

    Cons

Worst position ever. Says you will work "some" nights but realistically it comes out to working more nights than days. If you are in the science field, don't apply here. If you like a construction atmosphere, truck driving, general labor, or you want to die an early miserable life apply here. No room for promotions/salary raises. Upper management trys to cut corners whenever possible without thinking of the saftey of employees.

If you want an exit interview, forget it. They didn't even call.

Stay far away if you're a descent person. New grads, I speak to you. The wait to find a job is worth your suffering. Go work at mcdonalds, anything is better.

    Advice to Management

None, you're far too gone down the rabbit hole.
