I have been working at DLL full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    1. The People: All throughout the office there are great people who go the extra mile to not only work hard, but also giving the effort to get to know each other. this can be hard to come by in a "Corporate America" culture, but DLL is set apart.
    2. The Leadership: I believe in CEO Bill Stephenson. Everything trickles down from him resulting in effective department managers.
    3. The Extras: Full Cafeteria, Fully Loaded Gym ( New Cardio Equipment, Free Weights, Group Classes, Personal Training, & More), Free Coffee, DLL Box Seat Access @ The Center For Concerts/Sixers/Flyers, and Multiple Celebrations Throughout The Year.

    Cons

None that I can think of. Every job will have its tough moments, thus why it is called work. The people in this building make the tough days much better.

    Advice to Management

Continue to be servant leaders. In addition, continue celebrating our achievements.

    Pros

Great people to work with, good benefits, great work place.

    Cons

Some managers feel they need to manage other managers teams. If someone doesn't like you they make your life difficult by watchdogs no ever
Move you do while their own team
Does what ever they want. Lotta favoritism and clicks in management.

    Advice to Management

    Worry about your own team

I worked at DLL full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Excellent paid time off policy. Nice on-site gym & cafeteria. Pretty good 401K and healthcare.

If you are in a sales, credit or upper management role you will be well compensated for strong performance and will likely enjoy job satisfaction.

If you have one of the good managers who both understands the work and cares about their employees you can have a long and happy career at this company.

    Cons

If you are in sales support or other various operational roles you will be over worked and under appreciated. Those who out-perform their peers are not promoted, instead they are given more and more work to the point where everyone (again, talking about operational roles) has too much on their plate to really be able to succeed. Management does not listen to feedback from those who actually perform the work. Change is from the top down only, and a poor understanding of the actual work flow and the details of the tasks involved has resulted in computer systems and processes that do not function effectively or as intended.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees, especially those who are not just continually smiling and nodding their heads up and down with a blank stare (aka your middle management hopefuls)... Before enacting a new process or system change, take the time to have actual transactional workers evaluate, provide feedback on potential negatives, and then LISTEN TO THEM and adjust plans accordingly.

I have been working at DLL full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Compensation is generally fair to good and they have a lot of training opportunities for employees.

    Cons

IT has been through several difficult restructures and outsourcing. There is a feeling of uncertainty and instability. Other areas of the company seem to be doing restructures.

    Advice to Management

Continue focus and rewards for the employees - in every all hands meeting that is what is said (people are the most important part of DLL).
