I have been working at DLL full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

DLL feels like a family oriented company that looks out for you and your best interests. The salaries are competitive with amazing benefits. PTO allocation is extremely generous, in fact, most employees have more PTO days than they know what to do with. DLL offers a sabbatical after 7 years of employment. There are frequent departmental celebrations with food and drink along with fun and games. Management knows how to keep their department happy.

    Cons

Company needs new talent, as some of the employees have worked here for a very long time. A fresh perspective never hurts.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what your doing, and don't lose the #1 spot in the Vendor Finance game.

I worked at DLL full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Relatively easy job.
    Casual dress code.
Very minimal nights and weekends (maybe one training day on a Saturday, or staying late to make up for hours)

    Cons

Became stringent on cell phone use.
Monotonous work was at times unbearable

    Advice to Management

If numbers are being met, reduce the stringency of cell phone use.

    I worked at DLL full-time

    Pros

work-life balance, pay, onsite gym, benefits

    Cons

Middle level managers lack in IT skills and knowledge, they outsource everything. Restructure happens frequently and the middle level managers will go on a musical chair and nothing changes in the end. Lot of outsourcing of projects in spite of having full time employees . Overall company is not satisfied with the IT services. No promotion possible if you are not favored of the hiring manager.

    Advice to Management

Engage full time employees in projects rather than spending money on contracting. Give priority to merit based recruitment.

I have been working at DLL full-time

    Pros

Good benefits, focus on building employees skills, and great incentives.

    Cons

Large company, so there's not much one on one, a lot of pressure to make quotas.

    Advice to Management

Establish more one on one with newest employees so they become acclimated with the work environment and expectations.

    Pros

Collaborative work environment. Office is big, but feels you know everyone because of the fun activities and committees designed to offer a fun work environment.
Wellness committee and volunteer committee is nice

    Cons

Hard to advance since no one leaves till retirement age. A lot of employees are 15+ years on the job.

    Advice to Management

Offer more options for job learning.

    Pros

The people who work here are great 99% of the time. Feels like a family. Great benefits and comfortable work atmosphere. A lot of people who have been here a long time.

    Cons

Sold by HR on commission being attainable but once you are in the seat then you realize you should plan to make about half the target they set for you. This isn't a place to come and think you will kill it pay wise.

    Advice to Management

Set reasonable budgets. The cost of turnover hurts worse then paying commission on a slightly more realistic scale.

    I worked at DLL full-time

    Pros

The company appears to truly care for its employees, following a more European model where employee satisfaction and care is of high priority. I truly enjoyed the position and people there.

    Cons

Office decor can be a bit on the impersonal side, with people being able to sit wherever they'd like and with personal effects discouraged.

    Advice to Management

Continue to honor the employee but also make it a place where people feel comfortable to encourage more inclusive behavior and commitment.
