Pros

New hires get a good bit of general sales training in a virtual classroom setting. Ongoing training is limited. Depending on your manager, you might get coaching. They know the job isn't for everyone and they weed out those who are unlikely to do well. Company culture is pretty good.

Cons

The major focus is on every sales rep making 150+ calls everyday. Cold calling with daily quotas to meet begins during week 2. Very aggressive sales techniques leaves reps getting hung up on and cussed out frequently. Very stringent time accountability measures with no flexibility. The company uses a point system to determine variable income streams, which allows them great influence over commission payouts, which in turn makes it very difficult to project income. No possibilities for residual income & no relationship building/referral business opportunities.

Angi is a well-run, organized company with processes that make sense and set you up to succeed from day one. Training is thorough, and management is genuinely supportive, always willing to jump in and help when you need it. Communication across the team is strong, and there's a real sense of a supportive culture, both from peers and leadership. Work life balance is strong.

Pros

It’s work from home. Two 15 minute breaks and an hour lunch.

Cons

They are a very dishonest company. The hype up the job but in reality what you’ll be doing is spending all day calling random numbers in which about 95% of those people either won’t answer the phone or if they do, you will be hung up on within like two seconds. Not to mention the Angie reputation is so bad. It’s actually notoriously bad that even if you are able to get someone on the phone for more than a couple of minutes they’ll still end up hanging up just because of how bad Angie is. In my opinion Angie is a dishonest company selling a dishonest service because most of the leads they sell are fake and most of the leads they give their employees to call are also fake and if you don’t make these outrageous sales numbers you’re fired it’s a reason why the employee benefits don’t kick in until three months in because they know 95% of the people they hire won’t still be working there in three months because they will not hit the sales quotas. The only good thing about this job is its work from home really. And the hot leads they say they have 95% are fake or just someone who looked at a spam email. It’s actually comical how deceptive this company is.
