Pros

A young company that hasn't fully lost focus on the balance between life and work. Very nice people and, if you're in Charleston, proximity to beaches and downtown are nice.

Cons

Poor internal communication and disparate processes make just about any significant project difficult to complete. Too often the different departments don't know what the others are doing - left hand and right hand seldom meet. With the down economy, all depts have to get trim and increase efficiency, but the company has neglected the top performers which, by nature, means they'll lose their best assets and be left with the B players.

Pros

Decent pay, remote work flexibility, you get to work with some very talented folks.

Cons

Used to be proud to work for Blackbaud but that has all but disappeared in last 2 years. Poor and ineffective leadership, false transparency, frequent layoffs, bonuses based off of stock which has been tanking. It's a sinking ship. Avoid at all costs.
