I have been working at Entegris full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

New CEO communicates really well about what is going on in the company and makes sure everyone gets his ideas for the future growth of the company. As a company Entegris is growing and exploring other niche markets bringing with them expertise in semiconductor handling to open new doors for businesses. Good benefits and best thing is unlimited PTO. Of Course no company is going to let you take 8 months of vacation unless you are really worth it but it is good to have an option in case if u need it. Compensation is above industry average.

    Cons

Needs more communication within the teams and cross department. Also needed is a good employee enrichment program to provide training and tuition reimbursement.

    Advice to Management

Please have a part of budget dedicated to employee training and education assistance it will only help.

I worked at Entegris full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I did not see many Pros to being at this company. It is run by the rules that are pervasive in the industry they belong to. They say they want diversity but prevent anyone who is not an old boy from getting a promotion or a decent raise.

    Cons

Management allows people who spend great sums of money on fruitless projects to continue to be in charge no matter the result to morale because it is 'who you know' that determines success on the job. Run from this employer.

    Advice to Management

Figure out how to create a diverse workplace.

I have been working at Entegris full-time

    Pros

The people here really make this place amazing. It is a small company that quickly becomes a family when you get hired on. Everyone really cares about the work that they do and works together so the whole site is successful. The work is rewarding and it is very easy to have a direct impact on the success of the division as well as to implement needed changes quickly. If a suggestion is made from anyone that would be a benefit to the company, it is taken into consideration and implemented rapidly. There are no closed doors, and the director of the site is frequently on the manufacturing floor interacting with operators and listening to how things are going rather than just taking the manager's word for it. The management team here is very flexible and willing to let you try out new ideas so long as it will not run a customer out of material, or make the site miss their targets. The culture drives innovation and the R&D team constantly comes up with ingenious solutions to solve customer issues or concerns.

    Cons

The department sizes are small and the work load can get intensive during peak season.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the town hall meetings and keeping the employees informed on the direction of the business. The transparency is key to keeping everyone engaged in the future of the site.
