I have been working at Everbridge full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Company is experiencing rapid sales growth while continuing to innovate and launch new products and acquire technologies. Everbridge is market leader for critical event management. Great place for successful people to advance in their career with ample growth opportunities for existing employee's as well. Good sales people should take a serious look at Everbridge!

    Cons

none that I can think of

    Advice to Management

Continue to invest in good people, the products. Keep doing what you have been doing.

    Pros

Great community, fun atmosphere. Also, there is an awesome balance of fun and community within the hard work going on. The office is new and a great space, and the game room and kitchen areas are great perks.

    Cons

Midday lull; sometimes can get a little slow; otherwise, its a fun job with fun people! Also they have weekly free meals that must be organized; this is a fun perk and keeps people happy, but this position must be in charge of making sure things run smoothly.

I have been working at Everbridge full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great product for emergency notification and leader in the industry. CEO has a great vision and is a strong leader.

    Cons

Senior Management Team needs to listen to and value their employees. Poor execution of plans and no career development path. Management has too many direct reports and it takes too long to come up to speed. Training for new and existing employees needs work.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees and focus on developing them. When management makes a mistake don't penalize the employee by managing them out of the organization hold the management team accountable. Products are not sold by process, but with good coach, training and using a sales methodology that works.

I have been working at Everbridge full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Not much to add here. They have the usual health, dental, vision plans, but if you have a family, be prepared to pay, a lot, for it. No 401k match.

    Cons

After going IPO, it's like a snow ball of bad decisions and lost guidance.
Some work hard, but working as hard as you can in the wrong direction takes you to the wrong place.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to stop, rethink and listen to its rank to see what can and should be done.

I have been working at Everbridge full-time

    Pros

The company culture is positive and although work can be stressful, it is always amazing to work alongside down to earth people who understand the value of hard work and work life balance as well. The secret sauce at Everbridge is that even when there are pressing deadlines and exceptions on how to handle things, everyone knows that is how it goes and being on the same accord keeps the company united and allows everyone to work together to get the job done.

    Cons

Due to the customized type of business the company is in, there is always unique scenarios that are challenging to accommodate as the company grows. This is one of those growing pains type of things but it is part of the struggle and as long as everyone works towards streamlining processes and operating in a way that moves toward that as a common goal, everything will be fine.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work and continue to keep your employees happy and grow them professionally

I worked at Everbridge (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Everbridge is able to apply its' technology to more markets than Emergency Notification alone, bringing significant opportunity to employees to be involved in growing a communications leader. The company has expanded globally and has great working environments - having come a long way since the pre-2012 company that I left. This company is a winner.

    Cons

With significant employee growth and global expansion, every company has to address matters of internal communication - to keep everyone aligned to a common purpose and engaged in the company mission. This will be an ongoing challenge for management, but they are experienced business leaders who can tackle these issues going forward.

    Advice to Management

Continue doing what you are doing - it seems to be working!
