Pros
Great tech and mission - keeping people safe and business running. Who cant get behind that. Some really smart people and people that are strongly behind this mission work here.
Cons
The solution is built for large enterprises with more than 25k employees. Mid-Market and small companies can not afford the solution. Most prospects find the value prop too tough to explain and build a realistic ROI if not a Fortune 1000 company. Some managers are utterly horrible. Leadership protects managers, not employees. If you're neurodivergent and end up on the wrong team, they'll just drum you out, making up spurious "reasons" why you should be terminated. Neverminded that your territory is loaded with Mid-Market and small companies to prospect. Your territory is luck based, if you don’t hit your expected goal you will be fired and replaced, you are easily replaced in this role. Job security and enjoyment primarily relies on who your managers are and how many deals they effectively hand you.

Pros
The mission of the organization is quite impressive. They are a giant in their industry and there is a lot of brand recognition.
Cons
If you are 40+ years your longevity at the organization is in question unless you are closely connected to a member of the SMT. There is constant turnover at the highest levels, causing process and procedure instability. Certain functional leaders remain onboard despite not having great credentials or demonstrating critical thinking or people skills. There is little accountability overall and stock prices tell the true story. Weak leaders create weak results. I experienced the organization as it went downhill after 2020 and they have not truly corrected their course. Instead, they periodically elect to conduct layoffs as cost-cutting measures vs. growing topline profit and revenue. This means other departments are impacted and experience twice the workload to do the same job - hence why I left after this happened 4+ times in two years. It feels like you're expected to do far more work and wait for your pink slip despite thinly veiled assurances from mid-management.

Pros
Remote-first work, flexibility, unlimited PTO
Cons
Internal leadership is constantly getting in the way of driving business and closing deals and are always offering their opinions rather than any real logic behind their decisions. Internal Processes are constantly changed, without ever any notice. It has gotten to the point where the customers are driving more business than leadership.

Pros
Literally none...maybe the unlimited vacation.
Cons
Everbridge has some big problems. The biggest issue is that they don't have good leaders in charge. This causes problems like not communicating well and not helping employees advance their careers. Also, the top managers don't work well together, which makes it hard to get things done efficiently. Additionally, the marketing team doesn't have a clear plan or strategy for their work. This whole mess is because the leaders at Everbridge don't listen to their employees and support them properly.

Pros
Great mission - keeping people safe and out of harms way. Some really great people and people that are strongly behind this mission.
Cons
Terrible culture, terrible terrible leadership. It's an old boys network of friends at the top. A clueless new CEO who could care less about the people they employee. Constant reorgs, changes, misdirections. Can't get out of their own way in messaging and complicated products that really should and can be simplified. What was once a great company was ruined by the most senior leadership. I would suggest looking elsewhere which is too bad for this once great company in the industry.
