    Pros

Loved working for GENCO. Working at a smaller site helped to get to know everyone and become a family. Herb Shear did a great job growing his business and keeping to his values.

    Cons

Lots of OT. Good if you like to make money.

    Pros

Benefits are great. Pay is reasonable

    Cons

Overworked, good employees are treated bad. Lazy employees are moved around to find them the right fit. GM and supervisors do not treat the good employees right and they dream up reasons to get rid of good employees instead of fixing the problem.

    Advice to Management

    Start fixing the problems.

    Pros

The company required no investment from its employees, which is fair because the company did not invest in its employees.

    Cons

The schedule is family-anhilating. The work is bodily-depredating. The benefits are intentionally offensive. And the hierarchy chain is borderline animalistic and amoral.

    Advice to Management

Computers, televisions, and desktops are objects. Trailers, papers, and forklifts are equipment, but are also objects. Your employees are not inanimate resources. You're treatment of them makes the ground shake.

    Pros

    Good pay. Great mistreated co-workers.

    Cons

Too bad you don't have negative stars on the rating chart. Low brow, uneducated managers and supervisors. The management team that worked at this facility were awful. Eventually, when GENCO was bought out by FEDEX, they lost their contract at the facility and an even worse employer, ACI - Accent Controls, took over the facility with the same ignorant management team that didn't have the brain power combined to escape a wet paper bag.

    Advice to Management

Train your staff and since you have remote facilities and offices, do random pop-up visits. You might just find out how crooked and unethical your management teams really are and save your company a lot of money.

    Pros

Lots of hours and overtime pay. Cake once a month for birthdays. Easy work.

    Cons

Hostile work environment. Not enough time clocks available, so people were always in a panic in the morning because you were reprimanded for clocking in earlier than five minutes and reprimanded for clocking in one second late, but there were only two clocks and a lot of people that needed to clock in. Plus security was right by the clocks so everything was backed up every morning.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the cake.
