    Pros

Great company to work for with super benefits.

    Cons

older system, tends to over manage staff

    Advice to Management

Time is money, provide avenues through current technology for customers to find information without the assistance of staff, this leaves representatives available to work on serving the people who need it most.

    Pros

You get to use your Personal Time Off almost right away. The application process is pretty easy. You will be smarter than most the supervisors.

    Cons

You are smarter than most the supervisors but they still wont take your suggestions seriously. Strange atmosphere. Some people's birthdays celebrated and others weren't. Almost everyone smokes and if you don't, you will be discussed outside. You will get in trouble for any time off. There is noone doing your job when you are off. There are bo bonuses. Well maybe $20 for Christmas. But not last year because they bought us lunch. The management has no people skills or leadership training. No trainers.

    Advice to Management

Stop talking and thinking you know it all and listen sometimes. Take some real leadership training. Hold professional meetings. Recognize people that try hard. Gove opportunity for some type of promotions. My supervisor was there 20 years before being a supervisor.

    Pros

Decent salary good work life balance relaxed work environment.

    Cons

The so called training is an absolute joke. I worked in claims before and loved it, but this place was so disorganized I had 4 different managers the year and a half I was there. There systems were so out of date it was ridiculous.

    Advice to Management

Update your systems, management and invest in your employees.

I worked at HealthSCOPE Benefits full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    1.) Good amount of pto
    2.)Monday-Friday work schedule
    3.)good amount of working space
    4.)Hour lunch

    Cons

1.)If they lose a contract, your job is done for. No stability! They will pick and choose who they keep and who goes. If you do an abundance of work that isn't taken into consideration.
    2.)work place communication needs improvement.
3.) Training program is non existent. First call center with no buddy jacks. You learn stuff by placing people on hold, and asking questions.
4.) Management has no clue what they are doing. They ask the team leads for advise. The team leads sometime ask the senior reps for advise.

    Advice to Management

Learn your jobs instead of micromanaging, then perhaps you can train better and give fulfilling answers and advise.

    Pros

You received a pay check every two weeks.

    Cons

Management is like means girls in Middle school. System is from 1979, no organization, no training, clicks, bullies, want you to do as much as possible with very limited resources. I would not advise anyone that already has a job, to quit their job and come to this company.

    Pros

People are nice and friendly but kiss the shoes of management who has no idea of what they're doing. Not really a Pro.
Admin, exec. assistants will bend over backwards for applause.

    Cons

analysts, leads, sups and the CEO Mary Catherine are the only ones that know anything about health insurance. Management, vice-presidents, etc.. Have no idea of policy and procedures and think very drastically on emotion. All work is re-work that was not done correctly the first time, or there was something in a clients contract that management "forgot" to mention. Makes the lower levels look bad. No one talks to each other, when someone finds out good information, they hoard it for themselves. multiple reports of the same job are run. just a disaster.

    Advice to Management

    Communicate with your sups more!
Stop treating your analysts like they are expendable when they are the structure of the company.
