I have been working at Infogain full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Mid Size company, project size range from small to large. lots of learning opportunities if you keep on changing your projects every 2-3 years.

    Cons

starting salaries may be good but appraisals are not given timely and appropriately. not too many projects where people can easily jump. also delivery managers don't want to lose there best resources hence as a result resources remain stuck with one project for a longer period of time. no succession planning.

I have been working at Infogain (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Employee Friendly, Lunch provided in office

    Cons

If you work after 6 in the evening you are best employee but if you leave on time you are not doing your job. No acknowledgement of work in the project you are working. More managers than employees. Lack of processes followed in a project.

    Advice to Management

Try to help the employees who have been associated for so long with the organization. There are less opportunities for lead level role and equality is less for such type of roles after proving capabilities.

    Pros

Gives lots of liberty to run projects the way they want to senior resources who have proven their competency, but that depends on the group you're working in.

    Cons

Management very slow in making decisions, not innovative, some stellar talent, but are a sad minority lost in a sea of low calibre, mediocre talent.

    Pros

Ambitious to say the least. . .

    Cons

No integrity! Manipulative! Liars! Lacks resources!

    Advice to Management

Infogain, Bluestar, Infotech or whatever your company's name is make sure you can keep a project going before you hire people than lay them off a month later, 3 days before Christmas!!! Human Resources lied and said we were on bench while they looked for other roles for us when we were actually working on a project, never on bench and never told they were looking to place us on different projects! Have some INTEGRITY!!!
