Intelligent Shift Response
5yThanks for taking to the time to voice your concerns. We hope in the past three months you've seen the value and benefits of joining VTG. If not, please engage us directly so we can take action. For context to readers, just a few days before this post, we announced being acquired by VTG (link below). We appreciate all feedback and work to understand and address issues. To that end, we executed an anonymous employee survey in March where 86% said Intelligent Shift is still the BEST place for their career, 8% unsure and 6% said it was not. The survey results are nearly exact with past surveys. We see those results as positive, but work to do. We are taking steps to address all comments received.
Intelligent Shift has been named a Best Place to Work every year we’ve been eligible. VTG was also a 2020 Best Place to work by the Washington Post. In fact in just the first quarter, employee salaries and benefits both went up/improved, including adding new benefits like fully paid life insurance for the first time. VTG felt it important to give more immediately with nothing cut. In our March survey, employees rated the new benefits an average of 5+ out of possible 6. VTG’s leadership has a long history working with our Government Agencies and they understand what it takes to attract and retain talent. They are already proving that with action. It’s why we selected VTG to help Intelligent Shift accelerate our growth.
A final note- the reviewer gave 1 star to all categories. It’s important to address diversity specifically, as we are proud of our story. Our workforce is over 50% woman and/or minority. Those folks are in some of our top leadership jobs running lines of business and programs including several of our largest programs. Additionally, we have a special diversity initiative (rISe) that the NOVA Chamber of Commerce invited to brief their members last year. rISe has started multiple community projects to support disadvantaged communities and is focused on improving understanding across the company of issues facing our female and minority communities.
