Pros

Location but nothing else to note

Cons

They blatantly take advantage of college students and have seen multiple instance of managers taking commissions claiming co-brokerage deals simply for showing the young realtor how to use a computer this company should have a class action suite at this point, but they are talented at taking just the right amount where a lawsuit doesn't make sense economically....especially to a 19 year old....how terrible is that.

Pros

Overflow of leads although most of them are not closable.

Cons

- CEO will randomly call to berate you and creates a toxic workplace. (Happens to the majority of agents, only the ones that allow it to happen stick around) - Expectations are to be in the office from early morning to late night. - Huge turnover in agents. - Not a true 1099 position. If work-life balance is important to you, I suggest staying away from all companies under the ‘BostonPads’ umbrella. - Agents are charged $300/month for work-from-home access and are still expected to be in the office everyday, you will hear about it if you’re not. Desk fees are also a joke. All around poor leadership, you are just a number to upper management and they will treat you as such. Training is subpar. They will hire anyone with a high school education and a real estate license.

Pros

When I left my corporate Job and started my career in Real Estate I interview with a few offices. I really wanted to know, which office was going to offer the best transition to the position and the career I was about to embark . Jacob offered not only Rental, Sales and System Training but they also teach you how to succeed in this Market. As Real Estate Professional and this fast paced environment you need someone to teach you or you will be loss. Boston is a very aggressive market on where you snoozed and you lose. At Jacob they teach you how to stay ahead and how to be the best you can be in this market. They stay in touch with your progress and want you to success. They are not calling you for meetings all the times. They have field support, They teach how to make the proper calls in order to obtain listings. Great company to work for.

Cons

Don't expect a private parking on Newbury St.
