I worked at Knight Frank full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Structured environment with corporate leadership, reviews, benefits, advancement opportunity.

    Cons

Sometimes the international range of KF can be a bit confusing. There is a vast difference between Knight Frank offices across the world. Although there is a lot of structure and a clear goal at all offices, they may function differently from one another - even in the same country

    Advice to Management

Consider finding a way to standardize more efficiently across all offices.

    Pros

    Nice people to work with

    Cons

Massive job spec for the role. Salary too low. No respect held by management for office managers.

    Advice to Management

KF is too make dominated. Need to value and promote support staff who play a massive part in the success of regional offices. Poor salary. It's all about the fee earners. Not interested in retaining good support staff as management feel they are easily replaced.

I have been working at Knight Frank full-time

    Pros

An incredible company to work for, the support is excellent and there is a real focus on work life balance.

    Cons

The pay is good but could be better, as the overall treatment is very good there isn't much of a need for them to pay highly which I suppose is nice in a way.

    Advice to Management

Some of the systems and processes are fairly inefficient and antiquated, pay could also be improved.

    * Lots of benefits and perks

    * Lots of activities (other than work)

    Cons

Relocations from project to project. (sometimes you have to switch from one city to another)

I worked at Knight Frank full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Decent work life balance and salary

    Fancy building in Baker Street

    Cons

Not the best management structure - too many layers between you and senior stakeholders so projects don't move very quick, in addition to a dysfunctional team.

Poor company culture and a lot of favouritism when it comes to employees.

Private healthcare benefits only come into actions after 2 years of service.

Decision making on technical obstacles needs to be shared - far too many dependencies on single individuals who are control freaks.

No process defined for initiatives - just loads of random ideas.

They think operate as 'Agile/Scrum' but in reality it's the complete opposite.

My advice to anyone looking to join them for a career in IT - Don't!

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees and empower others to make decisions

I worked at Knight Frank full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There really are none, apart from leaving early on the occasional Friday. This really was not a pleasant experience. Sorry!

    Cons

Awful company to work for. All they care about is grabbing the clients money and they treat their employees like servants! When I worked for them as a concierge, I was made a glorified cleaner and treated like the 'hired help'!Quite frankly, I feel I was just there for the convenience of a manager to cover his holiday. One of the directors of the company was also a tenant! This means that they can construct any complaint about you and send it to themselves....a convenient way of being able to fire people!

    Advice to Management

They really need to be a bit more understanding and give people a chance. This company really needs to listen rather than just demand.
