I worked at Knight Frank full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Structured environment with corporate leadership, reviews, benefits, advancement opportunity.

    Cons

Sometimes the international range of KF can be a bit confusing. There is a vast difference between Knight Frank offices across the world. Although there is a lot of structure and a clear goal at all offices, they may function differently from one another - even in the same country

    Advice to Management

Consider finding a way to standardize more efficiently across all offices.

I have been working at Knight Frank full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great people
    Good hours (9:30-5:30)
Social (Quarterly Partners drinks (open invitation and free alcohol), mingling with other departments if you put yourself out there)

    Cons

Poorly distributed work - You could be working tirelessly while your team do nothing
No progression - flat organisation structure, work not appreciated
Poorly paid compared to the market average
Extremely high employee turnover (amongst the teams of 200 people 2 people were leaving every month)
Corporate atmosphere in Accounts - frustrating when it compares to other departments

    Advice to Management

    Take on board employee advice
    Recognise staff efforts and struggles
Actively invest in developing employees and encouraging progression

I worked at Knight Frank full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Privately owned, therefore more flexible than the competition.
Some great personable people who try hard.

    Cons

Engagement improvement process has been a failure in progress because top management don’t do what they say they do.

    Advice to Management

You’ll burn your people out and it will be to late to recover. You can’t keep squeezing people and hoping they just work harder.

HUGE turnover, cannot retain staff due to their awful culture
    No training

    Advice to Management

Good Luck cause this is a sinking ship
