Pros

Many great individuals and cool products. Good facilities, amenities and benefits.

Cons

Poor leadership. One minute you are working with a great colleague and the next minute they are gone without explanation. People routinely dismissed who appear to be high performers. Heavy politics, and extremely poor communication from the top. Low autonomy and high chaos.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We have always had to make conscious decisions based on our business strategy, and we recognise that in the past year the LA office has experienced some changes for this reason. We appreciate your honesty, and we want you to feel secure and properly communicated with as a member of the NI team. It is an ongoing mission to put our best foot forward when it comes to how we communicate and engage with our global employees as peers and partners within the company. So once again, thank you for sharing your thoughts and we encourage you to continue reaching out to us with any further feedback, comments or ideas.

A Disaster At The Top

Pros

NI is known for its incredible products and innovative design. Music makers around the world rely on NI to continually push the envelope on sound and technology.

Cons

A TOTAL lack of strategy from the CEO and President. Where is the board in this mess? After raising money from EMH Partners in 2017, it's as if they themselves personally checked out. A failed sounds.com launch and a lackluster pipeline are only a few of the real concerns within the company. If changes aren't made at the top executive levels soon, Native Instruments will soon go the way of Kodak and other tech companies that became complacent and failed to innovate.

We appreciate you taking the time to give us your feedback and regret you felt unheard before. Firstly, during our 23-year history, we achieved many successes thanks to the ongoing passion and commitment of our employees like you and we are thankful for that. As you know now, our vision is to create a new, unified and fully integrated platform. There will continue to be more communication around this to ensure transparency and enable cross-functional collaboration as we continue moving in the platform direction.

Thank you for your note. We are glad that you were challenged in a positive way and enjoyed working with your co-workers at Native Instruments. The LA team has been going through a lot of ups and downs this year and we understand that your comments reflect that. However, Native Instruments is super focused on its strategy to offer users a closely integrated ecosystem of software, hardware and online products and services. In September, we announced the biggest product launch in the history of the company and are excited to continue to serve our customers with even better products. There is of course more that we could do to improve how we communicate and engage with our employees and our peers and partners in the industry and we are working on that. Thank you for your honest feedback.
