    Pros

Pay decent as they pay miles stops and pieces. Average day between 225-325 gross. Pup trailers can be taken almost anywhere even dirt roads for summer camps

    Cons

Early start time for food deljvery between 230-430. Yuck

    Advice to Management

Better pay for type of work. Other companies pay a bit more

I worked at Performance Food Group full-time

    Pros

Best company to work for based on being customer centric out of all distributors. Great points of difference vs other foodservice companies

    Cons

Losing sight of what brought you to the party. The people and the customer. Becoming cookie cutter company like the big two which limits ability to maximize individual talents. Autonomy and flexibility are a thing of the past

    Advice to Management

Allow the Opco's to perform without interference. Your best players are on the bench underperforming because the position may not play to their strengths. Wake up

I have been working at Performance Food Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I've been with the company for 90 days and our division is a family type atmosphere. Great place and people to work for. The support office in Tennessee gives the assistance and help needed with just a phone call.

    Cons

Fast paced company with various systems, divisions, and support make it confusing to operate.

    Advice to Management

Formalized onboarding/training for all levels of associates.

I have been working at Performance Food Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great pay..home time excellent I've been working for them close to 2 years got my first route less than a year...trucks and trailers pretty descent. ..management cool ...respectful. .. I can't complain to much ...great career opportunity of advancement

    Cons

Long hours...but its on how quick you work.... Can't stand the cameras in the truck... Very nick picky about that camera when it goes off ...hate that dern camera....the warehouse sometimes only worries about efficiency instead of the quality of the load ...mispicks ...items on the wrong pallet ...pallets loaded in the wrong spot...not much but sometimes the warehouse workers get complacent with the quality of their job...

    Advice to Management

Nothing really ...just transportation and the warehouse needs to hold the warehouse workers to the same standard as the truck drivers

    Pros

Great Sr. Mgmt, open door policy, great benefits, great people to work with. This place just has an exceptional culture. This is where I want to stay.

    Cons

The only con to working here is that the rates for hourly positions could be better....money is good if you drive, select, sale, or are salaried, you are compensated a lot more than if you are hourly, good money hourly if you are there for a length of time

    Advice to Management

    Increase the hourly wages

    Pros

Good insurance, weekends off. They will hire anyone with a CDL.

    Cons

Long hours, worked 90+ hours in 5 days, Don't get much sleep (maybe 4 hours a day)

    Advice to Management

They need to pay way more for the amount of work the employees do. The routes need to be reduced so drivers can get some sleep.
